Mentor the Next Generation: Volunteer with We Think Outside

Do you believe the most important lessons are learned outside?
We Think Outside is a non-profit foundation dedicated to getting kids off screens and teaching them vital, real-life skills and resilience through consistent outdoor immersion. We're seeking passionate adult mentors—from university students to seasoned experts and community elders—to guide our small group expeditions.
Why Your Skills Matter
University Students
Gain invaluable, hands-on experience in leadership, outdoor education, and group management that stands out on any resume or graduate application.
Passionate Outdoors People
Turn your deep knowledge of nature and technical outdoor skills into purpose. Guide young adventurers in everything from shelter building to navigating using a map and compass.
Community Elders
Leave a powerful legacy by passing down critical life skills, practical resourcefulness, and wisdom to an eager generation who needs it most.
The Impact of Your Time
You will help us run small, consistent expeditions, focused on building confidence, teaching competency, and actively practicing community stewardship (trail maintenance, minor cleanup, and giving back to the land we use).
If you love teaching practical skills and fostering a deep, safe connection to nature, this is your opportunity to inspire a future generation of resilient thinkers.
Ready to make an impact that truly lasts? Contact us today to join the We Think Outside mentor community!
