OVERVIEW & TARGET STUDENT

This workshop is designed for students with a growing curiosity about how the human body works, muscle development, and the anatomy of movement. They will build and develop their own workout plan, while learning about the body and health. Whether they want to boost their performance in sports, build a healthier lifestyle, or cultivate a resilient mindset, this class bridges the gap between science and physical strength. Students will learn the mechanics of muscle growth and, most importantly, how to use gym equipment properly, effectively, and safely. We will also develop their understanding of how to use their gained skills and knowledge outside of the gym to continue training when equipment is not available. Additionally, there will be a hands-on art component where students will sketch diagrams and keep field notes to visually map out the muscles and body systems learned in class.

There are no academic prerequisites for this course. However, because we are training in a real gym environment, students must come with a genuine desire to learn, work hard, and get stronger. Due to the specialized nature of this workshop, strict safety and behavioral standards are required:

Focus & Listening: Students must be able to follow multi-step coaching directions instantly and obey all gym rules.

Environment: Students must be comfortable and calm working in smaller, focused training spaces.

Respectful Behavior: We are incredibly proud to collaborate with an expert outside partner for this workshop. Because the reputation of We Think Outside is on the line, respectful, mature, and safe behavior is non-negotiable.
