OVERVIEW & TARGET STUDENT

This workshop offers a creative writing opportunity where the goal is to build a world of your own. Participants will invent a fictional country, planet, or fantasy realm, then research and design its foundational systems—including its geography and climate, economy, government, laws, and history.

Prerequisites include being able to write full sentences on their own, with spelling help, and have the stamina to write 10-20 sentences at a time. They should also have some previous understanding of how to research using books or the internet. Their own tablet or computer is required.

  5. Humanities - social studies

SKILL ASSESSMENT - Needed Prior to Final Approval

The Fine Print: We teach the "real stuff" in real environments, which means safety and readiness are non-negotiable. We Think Outside reserves the right to withdraw any student from a program if our expert team determines they do not yet have the required skill level or readiness for the terrain. Withdrawal may also occur due to missing essential gear/materials, incomplete payments, or conduct issues. We are committed to a high-quality experience, and that starts with ensuring everyone on the trail is fully prepared.
